Pirates Rest is the trading name for our Queensland division of Wonderland Community Services Pty Ltd NDIS Reg: 4050042146.

Wonderland follows the principles for CHILD SAFE ORGANISATIONS -An initiative of the Council of Australian Governments.

Our organisation provides long-term, planned, therapeutic as well as disability-support accommodation for children and young people.

  • WHY PIRATES? At Pirates we aim to create a fun, adventure-style support to young people with special needs. Whether young people have had challenges due to trauma or due to disabilities we provide comprehensive care and support while ensuring developmental needs are fully supported.
  • Kids need friendship, modelling of respectful relationships, adventure and challenge as well as routines including participation in learning environments tailored to them that will enable them to master life and independence.
  • PIRATES REST – provides a range of services for young people with special needs:

    • Longer-term therapeutic support
  • NDIS SERVICES
    • SHORT-TERM PLANNED ACCOMMODATION (not emergency)
    • COMMUNITY ACCESS
