Pirates… are a community of their own and have been made popular through screen and television depicting a comradery and sense of fun and adventure. At Pirates that’s exactly what we aim for as well. Pirates Rest – Short Term Supported Accommodation & Respite providing weekend and mid week respite for young people with disabilities. We plan great activities which are included as part of our service. Our Annandale 6 bedroom home with pool by the Ross River provides respite and fun for young people aged 8 through to 35 to enjoy.
Pirates Haven – provides Medium Term Accommodation 2-12 weeks (a home for in-between homes) in our leafy Mundingburra facility right next to Anderson Park (handy to transport and shops) – no age limit.
Pirates Care – provides In Home Care (Daily Personal Activities) providing care in conjunction with Medium Term Accommodation 2-12 weeks (a home for in-between homes) in our leafy Mundingburra facility right next to Anderson Park (handy to transport and shops) – no age limit – also by request in your home.
Pirates Adventures – head out from your house with one of our Pirate Crew or 2 for some local fun adventures exploring all that Townsville has to offer. Canoeing, climbing mountains, swimming, exercising at the gym, scavenger hunts, learning about yourself and life as you go. Guaranteed to exhaust pirates with ‘too much energy’! Sleep well tonight me hearties.
Pirates Professionals – head office is located at 143 Goicoechea Drive Bushland Beach Townsville providing Allied Health Professional services including Behaviour Support, Psychology and Social Work.
Our active programs help young people make friends, build confidence and self care skills. Our youthful caring and fun staff have been selected to provide the great combination of excellent role modelling, mentoring and personal care.
