
0106 Assistance in Coordinating or Managing Life Stages, Transitions and Supports
This support item, which includes mentoring, peer-support and individual skill development, is designed to establish volunteer assistance within the participant’s home or community to develop skills. For instance, assistance in attending appointments, shopping, bill paying, taking part in social activities and maintaining contact with others.
As well as direct service provision, this support item can be used to claim for:

- Provider Travel
- Short Notice Cancellation – 7 days
- Provider Travel – Non-Labour Costs using support item 09_799_0106_6_3
- Activity Based Transport – Capacity Building Supports using support item 09_590_0106_6_3.

The following fees are charged on a pro-rata basis for support in Short Term Accommodation & Assistance and Respite Care – typically broken into the following periods.
1 hr = 1/24th per day rate
These rates also apply to short notice cancellations which are less than 7 full days notice period.
Pirates Day program is also provided under the STA line item so that all activities, food and transport can be built in. Life skills training can be provided both through the day as well as overnight to allow for full self-care to be trained and supported.
Additional care for participants requiring 2:1 support at different times during STA will use the price guide below as per 0107. Non-face-to-face support outside of the hours for the participant using STA services will also incur costs at the hourly rate below and may be utilised for incident report follow-ups, communication for the participant’s wellbeing with guardians, COS, emergency services, reports to the NDIS Commission and other stakeholders.

0115 Medium Term Accommodation – 2 weeks – 12 weeks (MTA)
This support item covers the accommodation costs of Medium-Term Accommodation (MTA). The support component of the care is to be charged separately. Typically, MTA would be used for periods up to 90 days. Participants who stay in MTA are responsible for meeting their own food and everyday living costs from their own income rather than NDIS plan. As well as direct service provision, this support item can be used to claim for Short Notice Cancellations.
Please note: Wonderland Community Services is unable to provide Medium Term Accommodation without also providing usual care support during the period of Medium-Term Accommodation. This may mean releasing funds from other providers during this period to adequately support the participant during this time. Please review Assistance with Self Care and Assistance to Access Community, Social and Recreational Activities. Our tenancy agreements require 24/7 supervision of the property and adequate support and supervision of medium-term tenants.

0115 Supported Independent Living (SIL)
As well as direct service provision, these support items can be used to claim for:

Providers of these supports can also claim for the costs of:

* Non-Face to Face supports will be charged through the appropriate line items and may be utilised for additional services for participant capacity building and wellbeing including incident report follow-ups, end-of-plan reports, team communications and meetings with external stakeholders, reports to the NDIS Commission and meetings with health and allied health services.

0116 Innovative Community Participation
This support item is designed to enable providers to offer new and innovative services to participant and is for mainstream providers who want to enable participants to access mainstream activities. Any standards applicable to the industry in which the provider operates would need to be met. All supports claimed under this support item need to be reasonable and necessary given the participant’s plan goals.
This support item can be delivered to individual participants subject to the rules set out in the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits.

0136 Group and Center Based Activities
These support items assist participants to access community, social and recreational activities provided in a group setting, either in the community or in a centre.
These support items can be delivered to individual participants or to groups subject to the rules set out in the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits. If a support item is delivered to a group then the price limit for each participant is the price limit set out in the following Table divided by the number of people in the group. Providers should make a claim for each participant using the relevant support item. Each claim should be for the total time of the support but is subject to the lower price limit as set out above.

Please note – (Wonderland Community Services – and service divisions) fees will change as per NDIS Price Guides released periodically – the fees quoted above provide a guide only. Any existing agreements signed will have an automatic price rise in line with changes in the Price Guide. Please note when Price Guide changes occur – participant plan income is automatically increased by NDIS to accommodate these changes.
